The LA based duo Zeitpunkt chose their name as a way of honoring the many German electronic musicians who came before them, and influenced them.
Drew Anderson, recently from New York, has been creating layered beats and computerized sonics with Jaqtong, Robot Witch, and now his latest project, Lake of Sleep.
The other half, Jim Cowgill, has been moving air with synthesizers since 1982. He goes by Sequenox, and throughout the years, has been playing live sets all over LA. Cinematic ambient, sequencer driven electronica, or minimalist techno, all are within the realm of these two electronic veterans.
